Kyle Hartigan has undergone minor ankle surgery this week, the injury is not considered serious with surgery removing old scar tissue & a joint wash-out.
Hartigan will be sidelined for the short term, he is still on track to be ready for Round 1 of the 2020 H&A season.
“Kyle’s running will be limited for the next 2 weeks. However, he has had a seamless off-season and pre-season to date, so he is well-placed to be available for selected trial games in preparation for Round 1” Crows Head of Science & Medicine Steve Saunders.
Hartigan averaged 10.3 Disposals & 4.2 Marks from 19 games in 2019, he has played in 72.5% of games since the beginning of the 2017 H&A season.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Hartigan isn’t considered a fantasy option in either classic or draft, he averaged 42.3pts from 19 games in 2019.
If there are further setbacks for Hartigan then Fischer McAsey may start to enter the frame for an early debut, selected at pick 6 in the 2019 AFL Draft McAsey reads the play well but it is likely his disposal numbers won’t be big.
