Ned McHenry sustained an abdominal injury at training last week, he received a knee to the area which forced him to miss the Adelaide intra-club match.
The injury won’t keep McHenry sidelined for too long, he still needs to be cleared by medical staff prior to resuming full training and games.
“Ned has completed all training components without contact, but he needs to be cleared for contact before he can be available to play this weekend” Crows Head of Science and Medicine Steve Saunders.
McHenry was selected at pick 16 in the 2018 AFL Draft, he is yet to debut for the Crows.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
The minor injury likely won’t hinder the remainder of the pre-season for McHenry, he’ll see game time in the Marsh Series and be in contention to debut in Round 1 likely playing a forward role.
McHenry will be a solid start in classic providing plenty of value, he’s a very late round selection in deep draft leagues.
