AFL Fantasy Pre-Season: Crows v Suns Recap

Summary: Gold Coast held on for a 7 point win against Adelaide at Noarlunga, Suns coach Stuart Dew decided to play 26 players while Crows coach Matthew Nicks played only 22.

David Swallow was used heavily through the midfield, he scored a game high 127pts.

Darcy MacPherson again had an impact from a fantasy perspective in his forward half role, he scored 117pts at a scoring rate of 1.41 PPM.

Will Brodie attended a team high 59.1% of CBA’s he scored 104pts.

Brandon Ellis was solid in an outside role for the Suns, he finished with 96pts scoring at a rate of 1.08 PPM.

Jack Lukosius played across half back using his foot skills to hit targets further up the ground, he was solid scoring 85pts.

Hugh Greenwood struggled to hit high numbers through the midfield against his former team, he finished with 66pts.

Jeremy Sharp found plenty of space & ball across half back, he scored a solid 60pts scoring at a rate of 1.30 PPM in less than a half of football.

Matthew Rowell was excellent through the midfield, he played the first half only scoring 50pts at a scoring rate of 1.22 PPM.

Noah Anderson also played limited minutes, he finished with 30pts scoring at a rate of 0.71 PPM.

Connor Budarick came on in the second half, he scored 27pts and could be up against it to appear in Round 1.

Brayden Fiorini scored just 22pts in the first half across half back, he finished with just 57pts scoring at a rate of 0.72 PPM.

AFL Fantasy Pre-Season: Tigers v Magpies Recap

Brodie Smith played through the midfield, his speed connecting the defence & the forward half of the ground at times was highly useful for the Crows.

Rory Laird started slowly, he scored 72pts in the second half for a game total of 114pts across half back.

Reilly O’Brien didn’t hit the ceiling most were looking for against Zac Smith, he recorded 21 Disposals & 24 Hit Outs for 84pts.

Ben Crocker played across half forward but did work his way up the ground at times, he scored 65 points at a scoring rate of 0.79 PPM.

Fischer McAsey played in defence, his scoring rate was slow compared to others on the ground.

Chayce Jones played across half forward and had little impact, he finished with 32pts scoring at a rate of 0.41 PPM.
