Schoenberg will likely spend time on the ball in a midfield role at times this season according to Crows assistant coach Nathan Van Berlo via Sportsday today.
“He certainly played a bit of time up & around the ball last year, so I dare say we’ll try & expose him a bit more through the midfield”
Schoenberg was used at 40.0% of Adelaide centre bounces in his first 4 games in 2020.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Schoenberg averaged 41.3pts from 8 games in 2020, he scored a season high 82pts in Round 17 against Carlton.
The Adelaide midfield may be a little congested to start the season, still in a rebuild phase there is likely to be some volatility in centre bounce usage with other players when the likes of Schoenberg are given opportunities through the midfield.

Schoenberg is a pass in AFL Fantasy classic at Round 1, the midfield usage isn’t likely going to be strong enough for consideration at an elevated salary.
Schoenberg is also a pass in 10 team standard draft leagues.
