AFL FANTASY TAKE

Sidebottom averaged 90.9pts from 9 games in 2020, he scored a season high 126pts against St Kilda in Round 3.

The timing of the calf injury isn’t great for Sidebottom or Collingwood, they are likely to take a very cautious approach for what is expected to be a long season ahead with normal game length & reduced interchange down to 75.

The midfield depth at Collingwood will be tested this season with the departure of Adam Treloar, Taylor Adams is also under an injury cloud but he expects to be available for Round 1.

Expect a heavy reliance on Adams & Scott Pendlebury this season, Jordan DeGoey may be used at an increased rate through the midfield in 2021.

Sidebottom is likely now a pass at Round 1 in AFL Fantasy classic, he slides several spots in 10 team standard draft leagues.
