Patrick Cripps has been announced as sole captain for the 2022 season, new senior coach Michael Voss made the announcement in front of Carlton fans at Saturday training.
Cripps has played 183 games for the Blues, he was previously co-captain with Sam Docherty.

Jacob Weitering and Sam Walsh have also been announced as co-vice captains.
Cripps was proud to lead Carlton again in 2022.
“It’s been an absolute honour to have held the captaincy alongside Doc for the past three seasons – it’s largely thanks to him that I’ve grown to be the leader I am today,”
“I’m now really looking forward to taking the next step this year under a new team of coaches and alongside Weiters and Walshy.” Cripps said.
Carlton open their 2022 season against Richmond at the MCG on March 17.
