Sam Walsh has provided an update on his contract situation, with one year remaining on his current deal at Carlton there will likely be speculation throughout the 2022 season.
But Walsh was extremely comfortable providing insight on current discussions with the Blues, this week he was named co-vice captain.

“I’m really happy with where I’m at with the club,”
“The direction that the club is heading in.”
“I’ve got a lot of good support around me here,”
“I’m not going to put a time frame on it because then the (media) talk probably starts.”
“But all I can say at the moment is that I’m really happy with how it’s tracking,”
“I’m sure it will take care of itself.” Walsh said.
He has played 61 games for Carlton, he was selected at pick 1 in the 2018 AFL Draft.
