2022 Fantasy: Dustin Martin Role

There is an update on the Dustin Martin role for the 2022 season, an increase in his midfield role is a possible option.

Jack Riewoldt provided insight into the Martin role at a press conference on Thursday, he revealed the thought process behind the move.

“He’s got a bit of a buzz around him at the moment,”

“I feel like maybe there maybe is a little bit of hunger there to get back to where he was.”

“The way we use him this year will be interesting as well,”

“He’s obviously such a talented player,”

AFL News on Twitter @aflratings “We may push him into the
midfield a little bit more to see if we can get that bull from 2017 back again.”

“He will give himself the best chance to be the best version of himself.” Riewoldt said.

Martin averaged 22.6 Disposals, 2.9 Marks, 2.3 Tackles & 1.2 Goals from 16 games in 2021.

Martin is a consideration in season long fantasy this season, keep in mind he’s recently returned to full training following kidney surgery that ended his 2021 campaign.

It’s worth sliding him up on your draft boards in single season draft leagues.
