Tom Powell is progressing well over the pre-season, he is yet to miss a session.
Powell had an injury interrupted 2021 season, he played 13 games.
He provided insight into his pre-season campaign with the Kangaroos this week.

“Was great to get a taste of it last year, I definitely learnt a lot of things that I’ve got to improve on things and keep trying to do well.”
“So building on my fitness, my strength, obviously are some things that I’m focusing on this pre-season.”
“Just trying to get my fitness back to where it was and then keep on improving on that.” Powell said.
He averaged 16.7 Disposals, 3.6 Marks & 3.8 Tackles in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Tom Powell averaged 68.5pts from 13 games in 2021, he scored a season high 104pts in Round 4 against Melbourne.
The return to a full pre-season is important heading into his second year at AFL level, he is expected to be used at a high rate through the midfield in 2022.
He was used at 29.7% of team centre bounces from the 13 games he played in last season.

Powell is a consideration for season long fantasy this season, there is scoring upside potential available.
If he’s still available late in single season drafts it may be worth targeting him.
