AFL Fantasy News: Round 13 of the 2022 AFL H&A season begins on Thursday night, @aflratingsPete lists the Top 5 Players Under $300K.
The order takes into account historical performance, ability to make a substantial profit, opportunity and scoring output in their actual team role plus subjective and balanced input.
The ability to remain best 22 is also a strong consideration.
This list will assist in identifying players to target ahead of Round 13, it may adjust based on team selection & availability.
*Final updates (if any) will occur on Friday afternoon.

TOP 5 AFL FANTASY PLAYERS UNDER $300K – (FINAL UPDATE)
1. Mitch Owens
Owens was exceptional for the Saints in Round 11, he recorded 14 disposals, 3 marks, 10 tackles and 2 goals against the Kangaroos.
The match-up this week against Brisbane isn’t ideal but he may be trusted once again by senior coach Brett Ratten through the midfield to perform, he was used at centre bounces against the Kangaroos.
A short term position in the best 22 should provide a healthy ROI.

2. Jacob Wehr
If Wehr can hold his position in the team this week then he should be a decent target, his role across half-back and D50 is favourable to keep the scores ticking over at a decent rate.
A short term position inside the best 22 at GWS should provide a healthy ROI.
Keep in mind several players are on the radar to return over the next few weeks, however he has been stable early in defence at the Giants.
3. Caleb Marchbank
Marchbank finally makes his return from a significant layoff due to injuries, he’ll likely settle into a defensive role.
His scoring output could be moderate, his position in the best 22 could be quite decent in the short term with Carlton struggling with injuries.
A short term solid ROI is likely.

4. Judson Clarke
Clarke makes his AFL debut this week for the Tigers, he’ll likely see plenty of time across half-forward which could place a limit on his ceiling early in his career.
If he can establish a spot inside the best 22 for a sustained period he should provide a decent ROI.
Richmond do have plenty of forward/half-forward options not currently in the team, this will place early pressure on Clarke to retain his spot.
