Carlton Update: Sam Durdin

AFL Fantasy News: The step up to playing AFL for Sam Durdin is a huge task. 

This according to Carlton senior coach Michael Voss as spoke with SEN on Saturday. 

Durdin was selected at pick 13 in the recent 2022 mid-season draft, he adds depth to the key defensive group at the Blues which has been injury impacted this year. 

Voss provided further details on the role for Durdin and what challenges he faces trying to work his way into the AFL team.

“Maybe it might help him a little that he’s playing a bit more key post,”

“He’s probably just got to understand what is going on up the field to try and help him.”

“Certainly playing in that back 6/back 7 it’s about trust and understanding,”

“The more relationships that he can build really quickly the better it’ll be.”
