Flanders did see a significant role adjustment earlier this season moving from a fwd/mid to pure half back.Â
On the weekend Flanders moved into the midfield in the final quarter and attended 6 centre bounces.Â
Hardwick said the coaching staff like utilising Flanders through the midfield.Â
There was no indication the adjustment would be made immediately but there is a possibility the midfield usage may increase at some stage.Â
Flanders is averaging 31.5 disposals, 6.8 marks and 2.3 tackles this season (AF: 113.4).
On Thursday night GM of Football Wayne Campbell said Flanders will move into the midfield in the upcoming period but may start at halfback this week (via SEN).
Campbell added that Lachie Weller is set to return in the next few weeks and can slot into a half-back role.Â
