Trent Rivers Role

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Trent Rivers is set to continue his role in the midfield. 

Senior coach Simon Goodwin was full of praise for the young Demon labelling his game on Saturday night as “outstanding”. 

Rivers recorded 21 disposals, 6 marks, 6 tackles and 1 goal against the Kangaroos (AF: 110pts). 

He was used at 80.0% of team centre bounces.

Goodwin added that they’ll continue a trial period with the loss of Christian Petracca to injury.

He later confirmed Rivers will be given another look through the midfield this week.
