Injury Update: George Wardlaw

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Nth Melbourne midfielder George Wardlaw was assessed for a hamstring concern on Sunday against Port Adelaide. 

Wardlaw came from the ground in Q4 and did not return to the game.

Nth Melbourne confirmed a hamstring issue throughout the game.

Wardlaw has undergone further assessment to determine the severity of the injury, he has been sidelined with a hamstring strain.



Wardlaw is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

โ€œScans revealed a strain there and with Georgeโ€™s history weโ€™ll take a conservative approach to his return to play,โ€

โ€œHe commenced running and light gym loading this morning (Tuesday) and will build his program out across this first week of rehab.โ€ North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White.

Nth Melbourne will likely provide updates during his rehabilitation period.

Wardlaw is averaging 16.8 disposals, 2.5 marks and 5.3 tackles this season prior to Round 18 (AF PPM: 1.14).
