Senior coach Luke Beveridge confirmed throughout the week Liberatore was dealing with knee soreness.

The Bulldogs confirmed a minor knee procedure on Saturday.
A return to play timeline is yet to be established.

Club statement:
Tom Liberatore has been suffering some low-level but persistent soreness in his knee relating to damaged cartilage.
The Club has made the decision to manage this issue with a minor arthroscopic surgical intervention.
The Club will provide an update on his return to play plan in due course but remains optimistic that he will be available during the finals series.
The Bulldogs will likely provide an update in the upcoming period.

Liberatore averaged 24.0 disposals, 3.0 marks and 4.1 tackles prior to Round 24 (AF PPM: 1.19).
