Matt Crouch (MB $10,500, DS $15,500)
Crouch continued on from his good form late last year with 123pts against Essendon in Round 1, he has averaged 126.8pts from his last 5 games (Incl. Finals). Crouch has recorded 30 Disposals or more in 12 consecutive games, over that period he has averaged 116.6pts failing to score 100pts in only 1 of those games.
Ownership levels will likely be on the high side for Crouch on Thursday especially for those who will be fading Rory Sloane, however the differential for Crouch not is that great when Sloane scores fewer than 100pts (Since the start of 2017: +3.1pts). A high dosage of Crouch will likely be a decent play.
Kane Lambert (MB $8,500, DS $12,350)
Nothing like a bounce back spot to get the heart pumping early in the 1st Quarter hopefully watching the scores tick over on a reduced ownership, basically many will be scared to roster Kane Lambert on Thursday due to the 47pts he put up in Round 1.
In his last 2 games against Adelaide last year he averaged 98.5pts, he scored 108pts in a loss against the Crows at the Adelaide Oval in Round 6 & was solid in the Grand Final with 89pts. No time to be scared here, Lambert could fail again but these are the spots to grab an edge when you can.
