Knowing when to jump off a rookie is a key element of playing season long fantasy, being creative with trades and trading before the majority of coaches can be significant. The same scenario is also as important targeting fallen premiums 2-3 weeks away from actually processing a trade, monitoring Break Even prices is very important in order to develop a successful team.

There are quite a few fallen premiums that will come into consideration in the next few weeks, additionally we have been gifted another crop of Rookies that hopefully can last quite a few games.

Round 6 Notable Performances (Good & Bad):

Marcus Bontempelli (AF: 122, SC: 145) recorded his highest score for the year against Carlton, Jack Macrae (AF: 145, SC: 141) is turning out to be a great unique pick. Patrick Cripps (AF: 112, SC: 143) has been a monster in the last 2 weeks, it will be interesting to see how the return of Marc Murphy impacts his scoring.

Patrick Dangerfield (AF: 70, SC: 94) recorded his lowest score for the year against Sydney, his scoring was limited by his forward role & the inability for Geelong to win the ball (Season low 319 Disposals). After a low scoring couple of week Josh Kennedy (AF: 111, SC: 125) recorded a game high 33 Disposals against the Cats, yet another solid week for Callum Sinclair (AF: 108, SC: 128).

Jared Polec (AF: 156, SC: 122) was left unattended on a wing against Nth Melbourne and put up a monster score, Justin Westhoff (AF: 113, SC: 147) is quietly putting together a decent season. Todd Goldstein (AF: 95, SC: 88) wasn’t able to exceed 100pts against a team without a Ruck, Jack Ziebell (AF: 42, SC: 39) put in a shocker splitting time between Fwd/Mid.

Lachie Whitfield (AF: 126, SC: 125) has a decent record against bottom teams and this was evident once more against Brisbane, Brett Deledio (AF: 116, SC: 111) is becoming even more intriguing each week. Dayne Beams (AF: 113, SC: 130) recorded his highest score for the year against the Giants, Dayne Zorko (AF: 43, SC: 46) has been crushed by the tag this season.

Tom Mitchell (AF: 147, SC: 126) did as he pleased for most of the game against St Kilda, the Saints ran a hard tag in the 3rd Qtr on Mitchell but were not able to contain him in the last Qtr. Jack Billings (AF: 64, SC: 47) has averaged 72.2pts in AFL Fantasy & 66.0pts in SuperCoach since Round 2, the selection microscope could be on Nick Coffield (AF: 21, SC: 24) this week after a very poor outing.

It was a high scoring game for Adelaide but no player was able to put up a crushing result, Tom Lynch (ADE) (AF: 121, SC: 127) had the best of it against the Suns. Jarryd Lyons (AF: 131, SC: 101) after a poor couple of weeks responded with a decent outing, the trade button for Nick Holman (AF: 30, SC: 33) will be destroyed by the end of this week.

Zach Merrett (AF: 121, SC: 111) was very good despite the Bombers being very poor, Joe Daniher (AF: 47, SC: 39) appears to have lost all confidence in his game. Max Gawn (AF: 135, SC: 168) is in fine form, another good match-up in round 7 awaits him.

Toby Nankervis (AF: 131, SC: 125) was crushed in the Hit Outs against the Magpies but made up for it with a career high 29 Disposals & 10 Marks, Dustin Martin (AF: 101, SC: 88) was a slow roll for a moderate total. The reports about an injured Adam Treloar (AF: 147, SC: 149) were greatly over exaggerated, he has been outstanding in the last 3 weeks.

Lachie Neale (AF: 138, SC: 151) exploded for 35 Disposals & 8 Tackles, Nat Fyfe (AF: 101, SC: 114) was followed closely by Elliot Yeo (AF: 90, SC: 94). Shannon Hurn (AF: 124, SC: 130) is dominating in the Eagles backline, he has recorded 10 Marks or more in 4 of 6 games this season.

Good luck for Round 6
