🔃 Bryce Gibbs (MB $10,200, DS $15,550)
Gibbs has started the season quite well averaging 104.4pts per game, what has been clearly evident is that he has averaged 85.3pts from his last 4 games which coincides with Rory Sloane not playing. Take note Matt Crouch also won’t play on Friday night.
On a positive note for Adelaide is their Adelaide Oval form against travelling teams, from 4 games this season they have averaged 1717.3pts per game (Season Ave: 1654.4, Rank 2).
If left alone Gibbs could put up a scary number against the Bulldogs, his recent form needs to be taken into account however. It is worthwhile having a few shares of him on Friday night.
↔ Jack Macrae (MB$10,300, DS $19,600)
Macrae has been in outstanding form averaging 129.6pts per game this season including averaging 150.3pts from his last 3 games, he has scored 100pts or more in 7 of 8 games & 120pts or more in 5 of 8 games.
The salary for Macrae is quite extreme at $19.6K at DS, in order for him to 8x his salary he has to score 157pts and for that reason he is a pass, way too many scenarios suggest he won’t meet salary expectation.
The salary for Macrae over at MB is lot more friendly, however in order for him to 13x his salary he has to score 134.0pts. It is possible Macrae can meet & exceed his salary expectation, it is worthwhile sprinkling him across a few line-ups but don’t go so heavy just in case he fails.
