📈 Brodie Grundy (DS $17,450) RUCK
Grundy recorded a brilliant H&A season averaging 120.0pts and scored 110pts against the Eagles last week in a losing Final, he has scored 100pts or more in 87.0% of games and 120pts or more in 56.5% of games so far this year.
Grundy kick started his premium scoring back in Round 2 against the Giants, he recorded 45 Hit Outs against Rory Lobb (20 Hit Outs) for a score 127pts. Conditions at the MCG on Saturday night should accentuate the Grundy advantage, he has also averaged 138.0pts when recording 8 Tackles or more this year.
With 4 options available at the Ruck spot on Saturday night opinions will be split whether or not to fade Grundy for an improved MID stack, it appears there is enough value at the MID position in order to make Grundy a prime target.
The difference should be quite significant between Grundy and other options at the Ruck position, roster with confidence.
📈 Stephen Coniglio (DS $15,650) MID
Coniglio was the No.1 fantasy player at the Giants in the 2018 H&A season averaging 110.4pts per game, he recorded 27 Disposals for 106pts last week against Sydney in a winning Final. Coniglio has scored 100pts or more in 72.7% of games and 120pts or more in 27.3% of games this year, he recorded a career high 152pts against Melbourne in Round 23 this year.
Coniglio recorded 27 Disposals and kicked 3 Goals against Collingwood earlier this year in Round 2, he has averaged 99.3pts from his last 3 games against the Magpies. The Giants will be without Josh Kelly on Saturday night, Coniglio has averaged 113.3pts with Kelly and 103.4pts without Kelly this year.
Conditions should suit Coniglio on a likely slippery MCG on Saturday night, when recording 6 Tackles or more he has averaged 127.0pts this year. Coniglio is the most expensive MID available tonight, he has the potential to meet and exceed his salary expectation. A must consider.
