Player Notes (Not all players covered)
Joel Selwood
Moved well, attack on the ball was first class, recorded 38 Disposals from 79% game time, 12 Disposals in the last Qtr, outstanding!
Patrick Dangerfield
Was best on ground for the first 3 Qtrs, recorded 30 Disposals, did not play in the final Qtr, attended a significant number of centre bounces, excellent game.
Tim Kelly
Stepped up a gear compared to last week, found the ball with ease, worked through the midfield, recorded 28 Disposals.
Luke Dahlhaus
Played a small pressure half forward role, recorded 25 Disposals & 8 Tackles, quality game.
Mitch Duncan
Was somewhat quiet amongst the Selwood & Dangerfield efforts, recorded 24 Disposals which were mostly uncontested.
Jack Henry
Played in defence similar to last season, 21 Disposals & 9 Marks.
Charlie Constable
Found the going a little tougher this week, recorded 17 Disposals, looks ready for a Round 1 debut.
Sam Menegola
17 Disposals from 80% game time, found little space out on a wing & half forward.
Brandan Parfitt
Regressed significantly compared to last week, overall still a solid couple of JLT games.
Gary Ablett
Played a small forward role, did take a while to settle in, recorded 12 Disposals from 69% game time, kicked 1 Goal.
Jordan Clark
Played a half back role, at times matched-up on Orazio Fantasia, was a slow start, recorded 11 Disposals which were all kicks, certainly adds a freshness to the Geelong defence along with Henry, up to Chris Scott now for a Round 1 debut.
Gryan Miers
Recorded 11 Disposals, found it a little difficult this week, likely on the fringe for a Round 1 game.
Tom Stewart
Same defensive role, impacted well, 10 Disposals & 8 Marks from 41% game time, very solid.
Darcy Fort
Stanley was sole Ruck for most of the game, limited impact in only 29% game time, likely Stanley No.1 Ruck in Round 1 with Ratugolea/Hawkins/Blicavs providing support.
