Gold Coast defender Jack Hombsch fractured a rib at training last week, he will be assessed in the coming days by club medical staff.
At this stage it is not anticipated Hombsch will miss Round 1, he will likely be placed on modified training until the fracture heels.
Hombsch averaged 8.9 Disposals, 3.6 Marks & 1.5 Tackles from 18 games in 2019, last season was his first at Gold Coast after moving from Port Adelaide at the end of 2018.
