“Unfortunately, Steven had some fluid build-up within the existing wound last week which was causing him some discomfort”
“We expect Steven to be back running next week and we’re confident this is only a minor hiccup.” Demons GM of Football Josh Mahoney.
May averaged 15.1 Disposals, 3.9 Marks & 1.1 Tackles from 8 games in 2019, last season was his first at Melbourne after moving from Gold Coast at the end of 2018.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
The severely interrupted pre-season for May isn’t a good indicator for the year ahead, he is a key for the Demons defensive structure & without him would create some movement in other player positions.
May is a pass in classic & a late flyer in deep drafts only.
