Western Bulldogs midfielder Lin Jong sustained a significant hamstring injury at training today, he pulled up sharply after trying to accelerate during match simulation.
Jong is expected to miss an extended period of time.
“Unfortunately from training today, Lin has suffered a high grade hamstring injury,”
“We’re going to work through a process with Lin over the coming days to determine the extent of his injury and his return to play plan.” Medical Services Manager Chris Bell.
Jong did not play in 2019, he has played in 33.3% of games since the beginning of the 2017 H&A season.
AFL FANTASY TAKE
Unfortunately Jong hasn’t been able to stay clear of injuries throughout his career, he likely won’t see action at AFL level until the Bulldogs are deep into their 2020 campaign.
Jong is a pass in both classic & draft.
