Jeremy Cameron resumed running over the weekend, he was held out of main training as late as last week.
Cameron was suffering hamstring soreness via @sam_mcclure, Geelong would likely be very cautious with their main recruit in the off-season.Â

Geelong may provide an update in the upcoming period on the health of Cameron, he averaged 10.4 Disposals, 3.9 Marks, 1.4 Tackles & 1.4 Goals in his final year at GWS in 2020.Â
There is the possibility we won’t see the Hawkins/Cameron duo until Round 1 of the 2021 H&A season.Â

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Cameron averaged 51.1pts from 17 games in 2020, he scored a season high 94pts in Round 14 against Fremantle. He averaged 65.9pts when kicking 2 goals or more.
The injury isn’t likely to be that serious for Cameron, however it’s worthwhile monitoring any updates or further concerns over the pre-season. Â

Cameron will share the majority of Goals with Tom Hawkins at the Cats in 2021, if he is used as a lead up to the wing type marking forward then he does have some fantasy viability in 2021 albeit a volatile scoring position.Â
Cameron is likely a pass at Round 1 but does represent value in AFL Fantasy classic, he’s certainly a mid round selection in 10 team standard draft leagues. Â
