Lloyd will be held out of the game on Sunday, the Swans expect him to return to full training next week.

There is no current update on his Round 1 status, the Swans are likely taking a conservative approach holding him out of match practice this week.

AFL FANTASY TAKE

Lloyd averaged 91.5pts from 17 games in 2020, he scored a season high 120pts against Port Adelaide in Round 14.

It appears there are no genuine concerns for Lloyd at this stage, monitoring this news leading up to Round 1 would be critical as to make an informed decision.

Lloyd has been a monster from a fantasy perspective in recent years, he will highly likely see plenty of opportunities again this season in defence for Sydney.

If the News is positive for Lloyd at Round 1 then he remains a viable option to start in Round 1 in AFL Fantasy classic, he may slide 1-2 spots in the first round of 10 team standard draft leagues.
