Matt Crouch has provided an update on his rehabilitation progress, he did not overcome a groin concern & subsequently did not play a game for Adelaide in 2021.
He underwent surgery mid-year.
Crouch spoke to SEN on Thursday, he will continue his training in perpetration for the upcoming 2022 pre-season.
“I’ve spent a lot of time in the gym in the last 6 weeks, I’m still training now at the footy club & trying to prepare for next year.”
“I think I’ll start running in a couple of weeks & build into next pre-season, so fingers crossed that’ll all be fine.”

Crouch averaged 26.1 Disposals, 2.8 Marks & 4.6 Tackles from 16 games in 2020 (*16 Min Qtrs).
FANTASY IMPACT: Matt Crouch averaged 88.4pts from 16 games in 2020, a solid return with 16 minute quarter length. He averaged 106.7pts between 2017-19, prior to the 2021 season Crouch had been pretty durable over his career.
At this stage Crouch will have a lengthy build into the 2022 H&A season, if he completes a full pre-season he should then be a likely consideration at Round 1 in season long fantasy. He could be a decent slider in draft leagues beyond early selections.
The midfield depth for the Crows should be taken into consideration in relation to his potential fantasy output for the 2022 season.
