He is expected to miss 4-5 weeks.
Fremantle are likely to provide updates on his rehabilitation progress in the upcoming period.
Johnson was taken at pick 21 in the 2021 AFL Draft by Fremantle, he was recruited from Subiaco.
Fantasy Impact: Matthew Johnson averaged 21.3 Disposals, 4.2 Marks & 5.7 Tackles from 6 games in the WAFL Colts in 2021.
The injury set back is not ideal in his first pre-season from a fantasy perspective, the time lost throughout his rehabilitation program will likely set him back for quite a while leading into the 2021 season.

The focus does start to narrow on available midfield playing time with the loss of Adam Cerra in the off-season, Darcy Tucker is expected to play through the middle of the ground in 2022.
As for Johnson, he is now a pass in season long fantasy at Round 1, keep tracking his progress with a view to selecting him at some stage when he becomes available at AFL level.
He’s a pass in single season draft leagues.
