Sam Walsh has been ruled out to play in Round 1.Â
The Carlton midfielder injured his ankle in pre-season and underwent surgery.Â
This according to Carlton GM of Football Brad Lloyd as he provided an update on SEN this week.Â

“Sam Walsh won’t play Round 1.”
“Our timeline hasn’t changed with him in regards to missing the first month of the season,”
“But in saying that he’s rehabbing really well.” he said.
Lloyd added Sam Docherty is a “chance” to play Round 1.Â
