AFL News: The move has been made for Connor Rozee.
Port Adelaide was disrupted in the early part of the season with injuries and form issues.
In Round 5 and down by 8 goals at half time against Carlton Rozee was moved into the middle of the ground, last week he was again used at a high rate through the middle of the ground.
He was used at 73.1% of centre bounces in Round 6.
Senior coach Ken Hinkley explained at his press conference on Thursday that the return of Kane Farrell and other moves recently has allowed for the Rozee move which has always been part of the plan for the future young generation of midfielders at Port Adelaide.

“We’ve needed to use him in different spots at times than our preferred spot, the last couple of weeks we’ve obviously been able to get him around the ball and he’s added to us as a team.”
“We’re optimistic as we always have been around what the younger group of midfielders that we’ve got coming through.”
“We’ve noticed them a little bit in the last couple of weeks based on our performance, and our performance has certainly looked a little better.”

“He’s certainly spending more minutes in the midfield.” he said.
Hinkley was also interviewed on SEN Friday morning and was asked specifically what his opening centre bounce would look like, particularly Zak Butters and Connor Rozee.
“They’ll be there, so that’s pretty simple. Ollie Wines will be there.” he replied.
