AFL News: GWS senior coach Leon Cameron has provided an update on Lachie Whitfield.
A move ahead of the ball against St Kilda in Round 6 was backed up again last week against Adelaide.
Whitfield recorded 19 disposals and 3 goals against the Crows spending periods of the game forward.

The change in role was confirmed by Cameron this week at his weekly press conference.
“We played (him) there against St Kilda as well, last week he hit the scoreboard.”
“When our players are hitting the scoreboard it just gives them another dimension, we know his running ability, we know his ability to play two-way footy.”
“We made a shift a few weeks ago, we’re really pleased with that.”

“Equally when he goes onto the wing, where he started his career he offers up that option as well.”
“No doubt he’ll be spending time in both positions there this week.” he said.
The Giants play Geelong at Manuka Oval on Saturday.
