AFL News: Toby Conway could be on the radar to make an AFL debut this season.
Selected at pick 24 in the 2021 AFL Draft Conway is expected to play his first minutes in the VFL this week.
Geelong senior coach Chris Scott confirmed the 19 year old is a chance to play in 2022 but his long term future is still a priority.

Scott provided an update at his press conference on Wednesday.
“We don’t see any reason why he won’t make very quick strides towards AFL footy,”
“Except that we’ll deliberately hold him back at certain times because we’re more interested in what he’s like in three years’ time than what he’s like in three weeks’ time.”
When asked specifically if he could play AFL this year Scott responded with a resounding “yep” but he added “that’s not a guarantee.
“He’s shown us through his training that that door is certainly not closed.” he said.
Scott also added that Flynn Kroeger has “shown us a bit through his training to get us excited”.
Kroeger will also play his first VFL minutes this week.
