AFL TRADE NEWS: There has been progress in the contract negotiations with Josh Dunkley.
The Western Bulldogs met with Dunkley and his management team earlier this week.
CEO Ameet Bains was growing in confidence a deal could be established in the coming weeks.

He spoke with SEN on Thursday proving an update on recent developments.
“They’ve been some really productive meetings between again Sam (Power) and our list management team with Josh and Liam Pickering earlier in the week.”
“We’re probably a lot more confident now of getting a deal done there over the coming weeks.” Bains said.
Dunkley is out of contract at the end of the 2022 season.
