MELBOURNE AFL NEWS

AFL TRADE NEWS

Fantasy Impact: Luke Jackson averaged 70.4pts from 22 games in 2022 at Melbourne, he scored a season high 125pts against Brisbane in Round 15.

He averaged 13.8 disposals, 3.0 marks, 11.0 hit outs, 3.7 tackles & 0.5 goals.

Jackson scored fewer than 80pts in 77.3% of games.

He is highly versatile and could be used in a number of positions, it is expected he will share ruck duties with Sean Darcy in 2023 with a primary role to remain flexible and potentially matchup dependent.

Jackson is unlikely to be locked into a consistent role in 2023 which could provide inconsistent scoring, with that uncertainty he’s shaping up to be a pass in season long fantasy.

He’s possibly a mid-late round option in standard draft leagues.
