Restricted free agent Ben McKay has joined Essendon.
Essendon GM of List and Recruiting Adrian Dodoro provided an update on the McKay signing.

“At more than 200cm tall, Ben can shut down opposition key forwards and will play a key role in our defensive structures.” Dodoro said.
McKay averaged 12.2 disposals, 5.9 marks and 1.2 tackles from 19 games at the Kangaroos in 2023.
Nth Melbourne will receive pick 3 as compensation.
