Rehab/Limited training group: Some of the players in this group included Lachie Fogarty, Alex Cincotta, Nic Newman and Mitch McGovern.

Corey Durdin, Matthew Carroll and Zac Williams completed training wearing a non-contact cap.

Nic Newman completed a running session for most of the day.

Patrick Cripps continues to wear strapping on his right knee and did not completed the session on Friday. There didn’t appear to be any issue and he was likely managed in the final stages of match simulation.

Charlie Curnow, Harry McKay and Jack Silvagni were the main key forward targets in the same team during match simulation. Patrick Cripps also spent some time as the deepest key forward target.

The triangle was used as the preferred method to structure key forwards.

Tom DeKoning was used behind the ball in match simulation inside D50 at stages, he still attended stoppages as a ruck. De Koning also mentioned that he is open to playing ruck and forward during his press conference on Friday.

Marc Pittonet and DeKoning also did a power of ruck work at stoppage/clearance drills.

Adam Saad was the dominant player to control the ball with exit kicks out of D50.

Zac Williams was used across half-back. Lachie Cowan, Caleb Marchbank, Jordan Boyd and Lewis Young were also some of the players used in defence.

Players used at stoppage/clearance drills as likely preferred inside mids included Patrick Cripps, Adam Cerra and Sam Walsh. Players on the outside at the same drill included Ollie Hollands and Blake Acres.

George Hewett, Matt Kennedy and Sam Docherty were also used through the midfield at stages.

Kennedy was the next player in the likely preferred midfield when Patrick Cripps left the ground.
