Curtin was assisted from the ground by training staff on a golf cart.
He has been diagnosed with a dislocated left knee cap and will undergo surgery.

“We are thankful Dan has avoided any bone or ligament damage in the dislocation,”
“However, Dan has had several partial dislocations previously, dating back to his junior basketball days.”

“Given this, it’s been determined the best course of action is to undertake a procedure which will provide more support and stability around the patella.” Adelaide High Performance Manager Ian McKeown.
Adelaide will likely provide updates during his rehabilitation period.
Curtin averaged 13.4 disposals, 4.5 marks and 3.4 tackles from 25 games in 2025.
