Cerra underwent further assessment including scans to determine the severity of the injury.
Carlton confirming on Thursday afternoon he’ll miss the opening rounds of the season.Â
Cerra will be assessed following Carlton’s Round 2 bye.
Carlton play Sydney in their season opener on Thursday March 5 at the SCG.
