AFLRATINGS NEWS: Collingwood defender Brayden Maynard was assessed for a dislocated right shoulder in Monday’s game against Melbourne.
Maynard came from the ground in Q1 and returned to the game, he was again assessed in Q2 and quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Collingwood confirmed a shoulder injury throughout the game.
Maynard has undergone further assessment to determine the severity of the injury.Â
He will not undergo surgery but will progress through a strengthening period, surgery may still be required (via Sam Edmund on Wednesday).
There is no current timeline for a return to play.
Collingwood will likely provide an update in the upcoming period.

Maynard averaged 19.8 disposals, 6.1 marks and 3.4 tackles prior to Round 13 (AF PPM: 1.01).
Collingwood next play Port Adelaide on Saturday June 20 at the MCG.
