AFLRATINGS NEWS: GWS midfielder Finn Callaghan was assessed for right ankle/foot concern on Saturday against Sydney at Engie Stadium.
Callaghan limped from the ground in Q4 and was immediately ruled out of the game.

He immediately applied ice to the inside on his ankle.
Callaghan has undergone further assessment to determine the severity of the injury, he will miss the remainder of the season with an ankle injury (via Tom Morris).
He will undergo surgery later this week and has a 12-week recovery period.
GWS will likely provide updates during his rehabilitation period.

Callaghan averaged 28.4 disposals, 3.1 marks and 4.3 tackles prior to Round 20 (AF PPM: 1.19).
GWS next play Port Adelaide on Saturday night August 1 at Adelaide Oval.
