As clubs continue to return for pre-season serious fantasy coaches quite notably will be ignoring the time trial noise, what should be of note are role changes for next season & injury updates.
Jordan Murdoch joined Gold Coast as a Delisted Free Agent today, he averaged 14.9 Disposals, 4.3 Marks & 3.6 Tackles last season. Murdoch should see a bump in opportunity at the Suns but is likely not a consideration for season long fantasy.
“Jordan provides us with elite speed and foot skills, to add balance to our midfield” Gold Coast List Manager Craig Cameron
Murdoch averaged 68.9pts in AFL Fantasy & 73.5pts in SuperCoach from 16 games last season.

Jed Anderson returned to training at Nth Melbourne today and is set to complete a full pre-season.
“I’m looking to back up what I did last season, have a good pre-season and get stuck into it when games do come around” Jed Anderson.
Anderson put together his best season at AFL level in 2018 playing 21 games & averaging a career high 19.7 Disposals per game, he finished the season on a strong note averaging 22.0 Disposals from his last 10 games.
With the Kangaroos adding several key experienced players during the recent Trade Period Anderson could further enhance game in 2019, he averaged 76.1pts in AFL Fantasy & 79.5pts in SuperCoach last season.
Anderson likely won’t be a consideration for season long fantasy, but should be a strong consideration for deep draft leagues as bench cover.
Nth Melbourne were ranked 14th last season averaging 367.8 Diposals per game (-0.8 Ave Disposals compared 2017), Shaun Higgins (Ave Disposals: 27.4) & Ben Cunnington (Ave Disposals: 25.6) were the only 2 players to average more than 25.0 Disposals per game at the Kangaroos in 2018.

AFL FANTASY ANALYSIS
Over his first 26 games Brayden Fiorini has averaged 89.2pts, it didn’t seem that long ago he scored a whopping 166pts in just his 2nd career game (R23, 2016 vs Port Adelaide).
Fiorini has somewhat been restricted by injury & opportunity in the last 24 months at Gold Coast but that will likely change in 2019.
Last season Fiorini scored 100pts or more in 36.4% of games but did not record a game more than 120pts.
The off-season at Gold Coast has been troubling for those taking a short term view on their current on-field performance, however the opportunity that this now provides for Fiorini and others should not be ignored by fantasy coaches during the pre-season.
Fiorini averaged 21.9 Disposals in 2018 (91.6pts), in his last 3 games he averaged an eye opening 28.0 Disposals (104.0pts). Fiorini is a must add to any watch list this pre-season, he is in a potential breakout situation at the Suns.
Gold Coast were ranked 18th averaging 339.8 Disposals in the 2018 H&A season (-47.7 Disposals compared to 2017), it is likely there will be some sort of rebound from those numbers next season.
