AFL Fantasy Analysis: Luke Parker

It was a frustrating season for Luke Parker owners as he was unable to find a decent level of consistency in 2018, in the wash-up he averaged a solid 95.4pts in the H&A season.

Parker scored 100pts or more in 40.9% of games & 120pts or more in 9.1% of games in 2018, this was comparable to 2017.

The loss of Dan Hannebery to St Kilda has increased the possibility that Parker may spend the majority of time in the midfield next season, the disposal numbers have been poor recently under John Longmire and it could be time for a reset on his defensive game plan.

Sydney averaged 373.2 Disposals in the 2018 H&A season (Rank 12), the Swans averaged 374.5 Disposals in the 2017 H&A season (Rank 13).

AFL Fantasy Analysis: Jake Lloyd

Parker has a career season high average of 107.1pts back in 2016 (Incl. Finals), completing a full pre-season will be required if he is to hit those numbers again in 2019.

The ownership numbers will likely be very low for Parker at Round 1 next season, fantasy coaches will be cautious considering the cliff fall by Dan Hannebery last season & the Swans poor form especially at the SCG.

There are opportunities at Sydney next season & Parker is certainly one of them, they are essential viewing during the JLT Series for any type of game plan change that will increase fantasy numbers.
