Ben Cunnington appears ready to slide into the Nth Melbourne midfield in Round 1, he did not play in the JLT Series due to a thigh concern.

“I feel good & the 2 week break has actually freshened me up a fair bit, so I will be ready to go in Perth against Fremantle (Round 1)” Ben Cunnington.

Port Adelaide midfielder Willem drew looks set to debut in Round 1, he played decent minutes in the midfield over the pre-season and should be a highly owned rookie for fantasy coaches at Round 1.

Michael Voss said that Drew “has put himself in a good spot” today.

Ollie Wines & Hamish Hartlett won’t be too far away from a return, keep that in mind when selecting rookies from Port Adelaide.

James Cousins will almost certainly line up for the Hawks in Round 1 but Dylan Moore may also play, Luke Breust was confident on the pre-season of Moore & thinks his chances of playing early in the season are good.
