Lachlan Sholl won’t participate in football or contact activities until further notice, he injured his hand in a gym session on Thursday.
Sholl will undergo scans later this week, the Crows will likely provide a further update in the coming days as to his availability & training loads.

“Sholly’s hand was swollen this morning and limited his ability to control the ball,”
“Given it was a heavy football session, there was little he could participate in.” Adelaide Head of Performance Matt Hass.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Sholl averaged 49.3pts from 8 games in 2020, he scored a season high 89pts against Carlton in Round 17.
The injury isn’t great timing for Sholl in the pre-season, hopefully the injury isn’t too significant & a return to full training is sooner rather than later.
Sholl made an impact for the Crows in his first season in 2020, he played mostly across half-back moving up onto the wing at times in-game. That will likely be his role in 2021.

Sholl is an option in AFL Fantasy classic at Round 1 if fully cleared, his salary does represent value. The DPP status also adds value.
Sholl is worth a very late round flyer in 10 team standard draft leagues, he has upside scoring potential.
