The Hawks will be cautious with Wingard who has a history of soft tissue injuries, at this stage he hasn’t been ruled out for Round 1.
Wingard played in every game last season.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Wingard averaged 67.5pts from 17 games in 2020, he scored a season high 100pts against Brisbane in Round 1.
The injury is a setback for Wingard so close to the start of the season, no doubt the Hawks will be ultra cautious with his availability.

Wingard was used at 31.2% of centre bounces in 2020, that included usage in 16 of 17 games.
It is expected he will be used in a forward/midfield role again this season.
With the latest injury Wingard is likely a pass in AFL Fantasy classic to start the season, he likely slides several spots in 10 team draft leagues.
