Tom Stewart has provided an update on his injury, he underwent surgery in August after suffering Lisfranc damage.
The injury was reported prior to Round 22, he did not return for finals.

Stewart spoke to the media this week at training, he provided an update on his foot.
“I was straight in Monday, did the whole session which was really really pleasing.”
“Obviously the nature of the injury I’ll have to be pretty honest whether I’m getting sore or stiff.”
“I’m 100% in at the moment.”
“I’ve just followed the program that’s been set for me for the last 10 weeks to get myself in really good nick for pre-season.”
“I’ve had probably only one session in fifty that I’ve pulled up sore from, in terms of my preparation & the way I’m feeling, I’m super confident I’ve done the work now.”
“I’m ready to go, I’m excited by seeing a full pre-season.” Stewart said.
Stewart averaged 24.0 Disposals, 8.9 Marks & 1.1 Tackles from 20 games in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Tom Stewart averaged 96.8pts from 20 games in the 2021 season, he scored 100pts or more in 55.0% of games.
He scored a season high 121pts in Round 14 against the Western Bulldogs.

It appears Stewart is progressing well in his recovery, obviously monitoring any news over pre-season is a must.
Stewart is a consideration for season long fantasy at Round 1, ownership may thin out a little bit due to the injury at the end of the 2021 season.
He remains a strong early selection in single season draft leagues.
