Adelaide High Performance Manager Darren Burgess provided an update on Monday.
“Thankfully it has been detected early and Fischer is in a good position to allow it to heal and return to training as soon as possible,”
“He has had a strong pre-season and at this stage we anticipate he will be in a position to play in the pre-season competition.” Burgess said.
McAsey averaged 6.4 Disposals, 2.1 Marks & 1.2 Tackles from 10 games in 2020 (*16 Min Qtrs), he did not play in 2021.
Fantasy Impact: Fischer McAsey averaged 27.4pts from 10 games in 2020 (*16 Min Qtrs), he scored a season high 45pts.

McAsey is a pass in season long fantasy, unless that scoring rate shows improvement during pre-season it’s unlikely any type of fast salary increase is possible.
He’s a pass in single season draft leagues.
