2021 Fantasy: Western Bulldogs Centre Bounces

The centre bounce rotations at the Bulldogs were heavily concentrated into a small group of players in 2021, despite the Grand Final loss to Melbourne the Bulldogs were extremely successful through the middle of the ground.

Jack Macrae was the No.1 ranked player at the Bulldogs in 2021, he was used at 77.5% of team centre bounces across the season.

Marcus Bontempelli was also used quite heavily at centre bounces, he had a usage rate of 73.3% across the season. 

Bontempelli was used at 83.3% during the finals. 

Tom Liberatore was another that was heavily used through the middle of the ground, he had a usage rate of 65.8% across the season & 68.5% from the 25 games he played in.

An injury to Josh Dunkley early in the year resulted in Bailey Smith being moved to play more of an inside midfield role, Smith was used at 29.3% across the season.

Dunkley was used at 46.3% of team centre bounces between Rounds 1-6, he had a usage rate of just 8.8% in the Grand Final.

Adam Treloar also had an injury interrupted 2021 season, he was used at 22.7% across the season & 34.1% in games he played in (17).

Treloar was used at 50.0% in the Grand Final.
