Injury Update: Harry McKay

AFL News: Harry McKay has been sidelined for an extended period. 

He underwent scans after presenting with soreness in his knee following the game against Adelaide on Sunday, subsequently he has been diagnosed with a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee.

He will undergo surgery on Thursday and be sidelined for at least the 6 weeks.

Carlton Head of Football Brad Lloyd provided an update on Wednesday. 

“Harry will have the surgery tomorrow morning,”

“he’s the ultimate professional so will attack his rehab to be in a position to make an impact when he returns to the side, which at this stage we expect to be around three weeks after the bye.” Lloyd said.
