AFL Fantasy News: Western Bulldogs senior coach Luke Beveridge has provided an update on the ruck position this season.
Jordon Sweet could be used in specific match-up situations, his position in the team could also be based on the form of key forwards.
Tim English played as the main ruck last week against West Coast, Sweet played majority of the game forward.
Beveridge provided the latest update on how he is assessing the ruck situation at his weekly press conference.

“I see Sweety playing a part here and there depending on who we’re coming up against and probably the form of our other bigger forwards as well,”
“They’d played together previously but previously the two other times we’ve really played Tim as a forward and Jordon in the ruck,”
“Whereas this time (against west Coast) we played Tim as the staple ruckman and Sweety played pinch hit ruck and a bit of forward.”
“It remains to be seen how often we do it, whether or not we go with it again this week,”
“But the encouraging thing is Jordon the previous two weeks was really solid in the ruck and helped us win those two games.”
“So that’s good to look back on, and if Tim’s not available then we can rely on Sweety to do a job.’ Beveridge said.
Josh Bruce is expected to be available not long after the bye.
