English came from the ground late in Q4 and did not return to the game.

The Bulldogs confirmed a knee issue throughout the game.
English has undergone further assessment to determine the severity of the injury, he has been diagnosed with MCL damage.
He is not expected to return in the H&A season and will be monitored on a return to play timeline.

“This mechanism has stressed the structures on the inside of his knee joint and damaged the medial ligament in his knee.”
“It is the opposite knee to which he damaged the same ligament early in the 2026 season.”
